Dr. Weires was born in Cedar Falls Iowa in 1957. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School, Cedar Falls, IA in 1976 and from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, IA, in 1981. He attended William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago Il, where he received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1985. Dr. Weires completed his residency in Chicago, Il and has been in private practice with Family Foot Healthcare PLC in Waterloo, IA since 1986.
Dr. Weires is a Fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons, a member of the Iowa Podiatry Medical Society and American Podiatry Medical Association. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatry Surgery. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Podiatric Medicine, Des Moines University, Des Moines, IA and an attending physician for the Covenant Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program since 1986.
In addition to Covenant Medical Center, Dr. Weires also has privileges at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waverly Municipal Hospital, and Sartori Hospital. Dr. Weires also sees patient on Wednesday's at the Parkersburg Medical Center.
