Dr. Lantz attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine prior to graduating Cum Laude from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Chicago, Il. He completed his podiatric surgical residency at the VA, Leavenworth, Kansas and Munson Army Hospital, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Dr. Lantz attended Iowa State University, Ames, IA for undergraduate studies.
Dr. Lantz has been in private practice since 1980 with Family Foot Healthcare PLC. He is a board certified member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a board member of the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society from 1999-2007. Dr. Lantz is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has been a member of the Health Policy Committee and Insurance Coding Committee of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is currently an Executive Board member at Allen Hospital and an adjunct Assistant professor of Podiatric Medicine, Des Moines University, Des Moines, IA He serves as the director, Podiatric Medical Education and Director, 12 month Primary Podiatric Medical Residency and 24 month Podiatric Surgical Residency Programs at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo IA.
Dr. Lantz also practices at his satellite clinic in Waverly, IA, and is at this site on Tuesdays and Friday mornings. In addition to having privileges at Covenant Medical Center. He also has privileges at Waverly Municipal Hospital, Allen Memorial Hospital, and Sartori Hospital.
Dr. Lantz is married to Susan since 1983. They have five children, David, Paul, Stephanie, John and Annie. They are long time residents of Cedar Falls, IA.
Dr. Lantz enjoys gardening, fishing and boating. He is also very active in confirmation classes and youth activities in their church.
